Culturally Competent Leadership

"As leadership goes, so does the rest of an organization." In other words, given the fact that leadership drive organizational "everything," it is crucial that in the current business environment where diversity due to  multiculturalism, equity, and inclusion are critical, having a culturally competent leadership, staff, and board, is a great part of any organization's essential ingredients for greater success in the current operating environment, as well as for the foreseeable future.

The moral/ social justice case asserts that each person has great value to contribute to any organization.  in terms of the economy, successful organizations tap into diverse talent pools, which also means they are able to equitably, better serve their clientele. Simply put, diverse teams lead to better outputs as well as successful organizations. It is therefore crucial to their success that organizations set best conditions for diversity, and create an inclusive and equitable culture.
